I need this calender

Hi,

I installed the component and the module. I also created a menu item to show the calendar. But nothing happens, nothing is displayed on the component section.
Am i going wrong somewhere or missing some steps?
Please help me.

Can i also the com en mod installed on joomla 1.5 stable ?

@ Soumya: Did you enter categories and events in de the backend (adminstartor page)?

Ihave installed the module and the component for the "content calendar". Everything all right except For the browsing months. I cannot do anything for that. When i try to browse months appears an error 404. If you can help me. Tell me what i' m doing wrong.

Hi, unfortunately I can't register to your site because of an error occuring, so I can't post this in the forum.
I read the post about more than one category and did what's described and further more added the same to the sectionid, so one can even add categories from different sections:
class_com_ab_calendar.php, 106:
$sql .= $this->showall || !strlen($this->sectionid) || !strlen($this->categoryid) ? '' : " and sectionid IN ($this->sectionid) and catid IN ($this->categoryid)";
class_my_calendar.php, 482:
$sql .= $this->general[4] == 1 || !strlen($this->general[0]) || !strlen($this->general[2]) ? '' : " and sectionid IN ($this->sectionid) and catid IN ($this->categoryid) ";

See the Forum post for more details and just replace the mentioned lines with these.

I've added even more features to the calendar, that I will publish on my website when I cleaned up the code I added.

the mod and com are great but i have some trouble using it on joomla 1015 when click next or previous month i have this message "The requested URL /1053/1053&month=8&year=2004 was not found on this server."

Hello there,
I believe i can usefull recicle your calendar on another interesting project preserving the GNU license.
I´ve made some minimal modifications to show all days of a single event on the calendar usinf the start-publishing / finishing-publish otherwise of creation date.
In aditional of this i want to upgrade the entirely module and commponent to joomla 1.5.x andding other interesting stuffs, so, if anyone here wants to participate just let me know.

And you fellows, i want to thanks for this marvelous tool that will be the base of that new project.

It seems there is a url problem when going from month to month, i try to advance and get cant find url, i added in the url the following and it worked. how do i fix this?

1. when click to advace month the url is this.........http://unions.xicl.com/2209new/2209new&month=7&year=2008&lday=28&lmonth=06&lyear=2008

2. it needs to be this: ............http://unions.xicl.com/2209new/index.php?option=com_ab_calendar&month=7&year=2008

any ideas???????????????

I try to use the calander with joomla 1.5 (with System - Legacy plugin) but i face 2 error msg:
1- XML Parsing Error at 5:22. Error 68: XML_ERR_NAME_REQUIRED
Component Install: The XML file did not contain an administration element when install the com_ab_calendar.zip.
2-Module Install: No module file specified when install mod_calendar.zip.
please can you help me??

I have a trouble with the calendar working with J 1.0.15. Like above when I try to browse past or future months I have a server error and can't navigate. Do you have a way to solve it please?
I have translated the calendar language to catalan, if anybody want it please send me a mail.
