Hi Wayne,

Just found your website because of Content Calendar.
It is really clean and good taste design. Congratulations!

I just noticed that in some menus items you have a "Table - Content Category" component, like in Downloads, Writtings and Articles. In this pages you have custom icons for each listed item.

How does this work? Is this a custom hack?

Hi, yes it is actually. Here is an email I sent to another who asked the same question.

Ah yes, actually it is just the default Joomla! Table listing of content with some minor PHP modifications for the icons and such.

I have attached my content.html.php file for you to check out. I would do a diff on my file with your default Joomla! content.html.php file and find my differences. You would have to replace my image URLs also.

Along with that, I also added another column to the MySQL database table jos_content called icon, and this column contains the actual filename of the icon to be displayed. I'm sure you will see how it works through the attached file.

Hope this helps. With some more small changes to the Joomla! Core, you could probably add a field to the add content page and let people choose the icon to be displayed when the content is actually created.
